Consignor's How-To:

Consignment items are accepted Wednesday-Saturday, 12pm-4pm. When you bring items to the shop we try to keep things as simple as possible! Here's how:

1. Bring us a maximum of 10 pieces at a time – please only drop off new or gently used clothing that is clean, wrinkle free and current. Items with stains, tears, odors or hair will not be accepted.

2. Consignors must be 18 years old or over.

3. Sign in and give your items to a Foxxy’s employee. Often, your clothes will be gone through immediately so that you can take home what we can't sell.

4. Foxxy Brown’s is responsible for setting prices based on current market value. When an item sells, consignors receive 40% of the selling price on items under $40. A 50% commission is paid for items that are $40 and over. Please let us know if you have brought in an item with a higher than normal value.

5. We reserve the right to markdown or put items on sale at any time. After 30 days, items will automatically be reduced. After 60 days on the floor, items automatically become store property or donated. If a defect is found after an item is processed it will be donated without notice.

6. Consignors may stop in at any time for the money they have made selling with us. Cash can be given up to $40, and we reserve the right to issue a check for any amounts over $40.

7. We do our very best to take care of the items consignors trust us with, however, we are not responsible for fire, theft or damage.

SELLING GUIDE:

Make sure your items are:

  1. Clean, and free of odors, pet hair, rips, previous thrift or garage-sale stickers.

  2. In good condition and ready for a new home; that means the zippers zip, the snaps snap and the buttons button. ;)

  3. In line with current trends for younger and older women.

  4. In the current season. We accept spring clothing from February – April, Summer in April – June, Fall in August – October, and Winter in November and January. (We don’t accept consignment during the months of July and December. This gives us a chance to get all the fabulous items out mid-year and before the end of the year so we can start fresh.)

Labels we Love:

While we don’t have a strict list of labels we accept, we love to see: Zara, Lululemon, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, TopShop, Gap, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Free People, Michael Kors, Seven for All Mankind, Frye, Rag + Bone, Eileen Fisher, Bjorn, Betsey Johnson, and Joe’s, to name a few!
